§ 5.28.400. Borough preference policy.

A.

It is the policy of the borough to give preference to local residents, workers, businesses, contractors, producers and dealers, to the extent consistent with the law and interests of the public.

B.

In making purchases or awarding contracts for goods, services or construction, preference may be given whenever practicable to producers, contractors and dealers in the borough pursuant to Section 5.28.230.
