§ 21.50.070. Inspections; Right of entry.

    At any reasonable time, and upon presentation of borough identification, an administrative official may enter upon any land or building to:

    a.

    Inspect the land or building where the official has reasonable cause to believe there is a violation of this title, or

    b.

    Perform any other duty under this title.

    B.

    When consent to entry or inspection under subsection (A) of this section is refused or otherwise unobtainable, an administrative official may obtain an administrative search warrant from the state trial court with jurisdiction and exhibit the warrant to the person in charge of the property before entering and inspecting the property. The application for an administrative search warrant shall state the names of the owner and occupant and the address of the property to be inspected, the authority to conduct the inspection, the nature and extent of the inspection and the facts and circumstances justifying the inspection. A warrant issued under this section shall be returned within 10 days after issuance.
