§ 19.20.030. Review of applications—Public hearing—Assembly action.

A.

The borough upon receipt of a proposed application will arrange for citizen participation and public hearing in accordance with the requirements of the State of Alaska, Department of Community and Regional Affairs, and the statutes of the State of Alaska governing Rural Development Fund loans.

B.

After providing the opportunity for citizen participation, the proposed application shall be presented to the borough assembly in the form of a resolution for approval of the application for submission to the State of Alaska, Department of Community and Regional Affairs. If the resolution fails to pass, the application shall be disapproved for submission.

C.

All reviews and hearings regarding the application will be conducted in accordance with the Alaska Statutes and regulations governing the Rural Development Fund program.
